Are your paints, water or oil based?
Each of our paints are water-based, which means they are all low odour and have a lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) level than any oil-based paints. It also means they are extremely quick drying, meaning you can get more out of your project in less time. Volatile Organic Compounds contribute to atmospheric pollution when they evaporate (when the paint dries), and they can be found in chemicals used across many industries such as soaps, building materials, and cleaning products.

Suave, sophisticated, and exclusive to Graham & Brown, Ultra-Matt Resistance Paint is a whole new level of premium paint for home décor. The 1% sheen rating means that it reflects almost no light, giving a truly matt finish in living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms. The art of using this ultra-matt paint is to choose the right colour and fortunately, Graham & Brown has added a whole repertoire of fabulous colours to the range. From succulent sage green for that vintage home look to matt grey for the ultimate contemporary interior, each paint is designed to dry to a silky-smooth finish. Pair an intense navy blue with crisp white trim for a classic library look. Or add pink to a playroom or bedroom for a bright yet soothing effect.
Ultra-Matt Resistance Paint brings a new dynamic to neutral colours too, such as cream and brown. The result is a wonderfully earthy feel that perfectly partners with heritage wallpapers and bold, botanical wall murals. The low sheen surface also makes a cream or neutral paint the ideal choice for creating a gallery wall in a hallway, where the emphasis is all on the wall art on display.
