The way we live in our homes is always evolving. They’re no longer simply places to rest and gather - they’re where we think, make and imagine, too. It’s this shift that inspired the newest chapter in our collaboration with The Sensory Home®: a fifth colour story called ‘Create’, a warm, grounded palette designed to bring energy and creativity into the spaces we live in.
Create builds on our original Paint for Wellness collection: Rest, Gather, Focus, and Nook, but meets a different emotional need at home. While the first four stories focus on calm, connection, concentration, and comfort, Create brings in movement and energy. It gives your space the feeling of being ready for cooking, making, or getting lost in creative work.
This idea comes from the sensory-first approach we share with The Sensory Home. Instead of using bold, attention-grabbing colours often found in creative spaces, Create uses warm, mid-tone shades that gently stimulate without overwhelming. The result is a room that feels steady, warm, and quietly energising.
Pimento is a warm, mid-depth clay shade that is rich in pigment. It grounds a space while adding a gentle boost of energy.
Hot mocha is a muted terracotta that adds warmth and energy without being too bold.
Elderton is a deep mid-brown that gives a room foundation, depth, and a quiet sense of confidence to a space.
Chesterfield is a warm neutral, designed to balance and soften the rest of the palette.
Together, these tones create a room that feels warm, steady, and gently stimulating – supporting creativity in a way that feels natural and entirely liveable.
