Are your paints, water or oil based?
Each of our paints are water-based, which means they are all low odour and have a lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) level than any oil-based paints. It also means they are extremely quick drying, meaning you can get more out of your project in less time. Volatile Organic Compounds contribute to atmospheric pollution when they evaporate (when the paint dries), and they can be found in chemicals used across many industries such as soaps, building materials, and cleaning products.
What’s the difference between your everyday emulsion and resistance ultra durable matt emulsion?
What finish should I use to paint wood and metal?
What samples do you have available?

Whether it’s sprucing up the bathroom or doing a top-to-bottom renovation of a period home, everyday emulsion is your go-to paint for almost all interior decorating. Smooth, thick and easy to apply, it also comes in a vast range of colours to suit every room. The low-sheen factor gives you that silky smooth effect with minimal light reflectivity, so it’s perfect for home offices where you want to cut out any screen glare from your laptop. Our top tip: go for a blue colour that helps to improve concentration and focus to create a productive space. Perfectly partner it with a rich cream to lift it and make it feel comfortable and inviting.
For living rooms, green is a popular colour to imbue a sense of peace and tranquillity. Combine it with brown for an earthy, rustic appearance, and add interest with a bold landscape wall mural or signature wallpaper. In a chic modern home, grey brings out the best in almost any combination, playing well with both warm and cool colours. Or add a dash of pink to a bedroom for a whimsical touch, teamed with creams and neutrals for that sophisticated touch.
