Famous botanist Charles Plumier discovered some of the most beautiful blooms we see in our gardens today. In 1703, in Martinique, Plumier named the flowering tree, Magnolia, after the famous botanist, Pierre Magnol. This strong flora is symbolic of magnificence, poise and pride due to its impressive height and enormous flowers. Pierre Platinum depicts delicately hand painted blooms combining tonal greys with a strong silver metallic backdrop, representative of changing times.
