Rated 5 out of 5 by CraigA from Fantastic Paper. Easy to Apply & Match (see tip) I have spent the past week putting up almost 20 rolls of this paper, and I can honestly say that it is the best wallpaper I have ever bought. It never tears, even when applying a 14ft long strip in the staircase area. (I have decorated the entire hall, stairs and landing in it and it looks amazing) It is easy to apply and relatively easy to pattern match if you follow one simple tip: There are 2 matches to this paper as it has an offset pattern (you don't get the same match at the top of every sheet, rather every other sheet). So just apply the first sheet then cut off 2 x 1ft strips, the first to match the very top of that strip that you just put up, draw a line across the the front where it meets the ceiling/coving so you know exactly where the top of each sheet will be and mark it 'A' on the back. Then cut your second 1ft strip, but pattern match to one side of that first sheet (either side - It doesn't matter), mark the top-line again and write 'B' on the back.. Once you've done that, you will be alternating A and B all the way along the wall, and this allows you to use your 2 templates to pre-match the top of each cut while the paper is on the cutting/pasting table and then just allow an extra inch or so over at the top in case your first sheet wasn't perfectly upright. Then mark a tiny pencil-line on the back of the cut sheet that matches the line that you drew on the front of the template, to show where the top is when you hang it. When hanging, just line up the little mark on the back with the top of the wall and you should be no more than a few millimetres from a perfect match every time. Sorry for the long-winded description, but I hope this saves even one person from struggling to pattern-match this quite superb paper. I HIGHLY recommend it. The only disappointing thing is that I had to pay £4 per roll more to buy direct from the manufacturer than I would from a reseller (even B&Q whodon't discount anything). £24 from G&B, £20 everywhere else, but I needed a large quantity of the same batch number so I had no choice. Seems a little greedy to me.
