Unexpectedly lightWhen i ordered this paint and opened the tin it looks WHITE! I mean, I completely freaked out that they forgot the pigment - argh! But a friend told me it is an illusion and to wait until I painted and she was right. A dream to use. Goes a long way, although very smelly, but the colour is a delightfully pale grey which is exactly what the room needed as it is incredibly dark in there.
Next colour to buy is Pixie

Not exactly the colour shown onlineBeautiful paint to work with but if you are looking for a stone colour then this is not it. Definite purple grey tinge to it which is disappointing. I bought it on recommendation to go with the new Adeline (dark green) which is fabulous but not sure it does I think I will have to replace the stone colour.

Not Stone at allReally disappointed with this paint.
We wanted a pure stone paint but on the wall this has a strong lilac tint. It's really not stone at all.
Graham & Brown refused to refund me if I returned them stating that it's 'mixed to order'. This really isn't made clear in the paint description - it's quite a limited palette of paints that they offer and I don't believe they actually mix every individual pot of paint. Won't buy G & B paint again.

Difficult to choose a colour without a sample potWe bought this paint based on the free swatch card we ordered and the photograph example on the back, as no paint samples were available. The paint has a lovely texture and went on the wall very easily for us non-professionals. However, once we had painted a section of wall it was clear that the colour was much, much more lilac than we wanted. Holding the colour swatch up to it, it did match fairly well, but it's just not enough to be able to make an informed decision, taking into account lighting, surrounding colours etc. You really need a proper paint sample. We weren't able to return the paint either so we're hoping we might be able to use it somewhere else in the house. Otherwise it's quite a lot of wasted money. We are tempted to order from you again, because the paint is reasonably priced and has a very nice texture. However, it is a big risk without knowing what the colour will genuinely look like until after you've bought it.
