Famous was created to star in an ITV show, hence it's namesake. This stunning, rich deep red has 40% blue pigments, creating a slight purple hint to it. In darker lights Famous looks dramatic red, whereas in brighter, well lit rooms, Famous looks slightly purple and gives a regal atmosphere.

Excellent final result
A friend tipped me off to this company and suggest ‘Famous’ as a colour I might like. This was the fourth red/purple I’d bought , but this was the only one from this company. The others just looked cheap in comparison. This may not be the cheapest paint but it gave me the best result. I did have to order some more as it took 5 coats to get past the patchiness . Although the first coat didn’t adhere well and looked really patchy , it got better from there . It now looks great and I’m just waiting for all the other components I’ve ordered to come to finish off the room. The first time came really quickly, but the second took the best part of a week , but with all the delays thanks to lock down , it’s not surprising . I’ve not finished the room so maybe some pictures can be added at a later date.

Not the colour it says on the tin
I saw a bathroom online that was painted in the colour, but it did not look as I'd hoped. It was more of a standard purple than the kind of maroony colour that it looked. Needed 3 coats to make a solid colour as well. A bit disappointed for the price I paid :-(
The wallpapers are awesome though.

Not impressed
I bought the paint a while a go and spent a day painting 2 walls. The paint was thin and lacked coverage. 3 coats later still nit an acceptable finish. 2.5 litre pot covered 3m2, not like what it said. Had to buy other paint to cover the wall.
