Beautiful colour but surprisingly delicate
Took three coats on a plain white wall but the colour is beautiful. Ultra high resistance durable Matt is not quite what was expected and wiped the wall recently to remove some plaster dyst and the cloth cane away coloured.

Excellent
‘Jewel in the Crown’ is an absolutely beautiful colour. I have tried to buy this teal colour before but other brands in my opinion have fallen short of the mark in creating this truly Eastern colour. It is beautiful with my Asian artefacts and has a wonderful depth of colour with an historical yet contemporary feel.
Good quality thick paint with a Matt appearance with depth.Better-priced than some other specialist paint suppliers. Have bought some more.

Beautiful Jewel in the Crown
Ordered the Jewel in the Crown as a feature wall for my therapy room. Love the richness and yet regal quality. I’ve enough paint left over to do my office which I am going to add some jazz with and add paint glitter! My office will have three light walls and then a glittery jewel wall! Can’t wait!!

One word - Magnificent!
The paint went on like a dream, so so easy to use and the colour was EXACTLY what it showed on the website. The amount of family and friends who have commented on how nice the colour is, is notable. I am planning on redecorating certain rooms in my home guess who's website I'll be buying from Graham and Brown. Oh yes and the price of the paint was competitive and very quick delivery. Would thoroughly recommend *****

Sample received was bright turquoise
Not sure if this was a mistake or really the color. Was labeled jewel in the crown. I reached out for a refund for being misled.

Beautiful deep colour
We couldn't get this colour anywhere else, no 'matching services' could get it dark enough. Stunning colour in my otherwise white bathroom and excellent quality.

Wonderful!
The Jewel.In The Crown colour was exactly how I expected it to be! The paint consistency is excellent and easy to apply with a roller and brush. 2 coats were required for my walls. The colour is more greenish during the day and has a blueish hue during the night! Gorgeous paint!

Completely Different Colour
I bought this paint a few weeks ago, it has great coverage and took only 2 coats to cover the walls however, the colour is nowhere near similar to the colour in the picture, maybe I should have bought a tester but it is so far out I'm now going to have to buy more paint to redo my room, at £60 a tin I'd expect to get at least close to the colour shown

Too much oil in it.
Amazing colour, but it marks like no other. After three coats and at £60 a tin I would not expect my finger to mark it.

Terrible!
The paint was totally the wrong colour and so thin that 3 coats nowhere near covered the walls. I had to buy different paint and pay my decorator for an extra days work
I got a refund for the paint

Best paint I’ve used
The first coat looked patchy but the second coat finished it off perfectly. It was great to use and you can tell it is a good quality product. I love it and I get so many compliments about it. I’ll be buying more paint from G & B for other rooms and recommending them too!

Nice colour
I took a chance and ordered this without buying a tester pot. The colour is nice. The first coat I put on scared me because it was so patchy. I checked on the website how much paint would cover the area I needed. They recommended 2 coats but I did 3, as I still noticed patchy parts on the 2nd coat. I need to touch up skirting board but really like the colour.

Good colour, awful quality pant
The paint was delivered quickly, and the colour - though much lighter and more blue than in the picture - is gorgeous BUT the paint quality is appalling. It took 3 coats to cover well-prepared walls. I’ve painted lots of rooms dark colours in the past, and never needed more than two coats. The paint texture is “plasticky’ and seemed to have poor adherence, even though I went through gallons of it - 6 litres to paint one room! Given that the coverage & quality was much worse than cheap B & Q paint (which I wouldn’t necessarily recommend), I feel the paint is very overpriced.

Very beautiful paint
I painted my living room about 2 weeks ago and cant get over how much I love the colour. It went on well and although I initially worried it would dry patchy my worries were unfounded because it is the smoothest looking paint I've ever owned. Its just gorgeous.

Great colour, poor paint
Am really disappointed by this paint.
The decorators did 6 coats in order to get the colour even, and every time the wall is touched, even lightly, it leaves a mark.
Am sorry, but considering the cost of it this paint has been truly rubbish.

Colour great but paint flashing horrendous
I bought this paint as it was a perfect colour match for the area I’m decorating. However although the colour is great, paint flashing has been impossible to avoid, even with multiple coats. Very disappointing.
