I ordered my paint after previously trying out three different colours using the sample pots at £9 each, not cheap. As I was painting my bedroom wall I became more and more disappointed with the colour and decided that I would buy a different paint and redo it. When I checked my walls against the sample ( which I had painted onto paper) I saw that they were completely different to each other. I rang G&B ( it was a Saturday) and was told they’d look into it. As I had all my bedroom furniture moved into the middle of the room and was having to climb over it whilst waits for a reply, as it’s too heavy to move around willynilly, I called G&B on the Wednesday after hearing nothing to be told that the advisor only worked weekends! So this new advisor suggested that the correct dye hadn’t been mixed into the paint. She arranged for a replacement tin of correct paint but couldn’t get it done quickly because they ‘only had one paint mixing machine available’ I finally got my painting finished after two weeks and although I love the colour and the finish I was disappointed at the lack of care I got from G&B. A gesture of apology would have been nice, such as a refund, at least for the samples, or a box of chocolates! So, although I do like the colour I will probably go to F&B for my paint in the future. Sorry.

Favourite ever wall colour
Wow, I am in love with this colour! Was concerned it might be too on the grey side even though its listed as neutral/brown. I needn't have worried. It's got a sort of cement/concrete feel but so warm, and reminds me of being in a lovely rustic villa or an art gallery. I've just painted one wall of my kitchen with it - as it's quite a dark room with dark worktops I thought a feature wall would work best, and it's transformed my kitchen. Sounds silly because it's just paint but it's made me so happy, I can't stop staring at it, and I'm resisting the temptation to paint more of the walls in my flat this colour. It's so unique, I'd previously painted one wall in my living room dark blue but next time its due a repaint I might go for this. Please keep making this shade - it's the most stunning, unique colour, and as always, goes on easy and has great coverage (especially if you use paint pads rather than a roller)
