Disappointment #2
This is the second paint from Graham Brown I bought and was so disappointed with. Expensive mistake. I would normally think it was me, but my paint purchases of other brands from Amazon have been just fine in terms of expectations of colour. It’s not me, it’s you. This paint looks like it has a slightly dusky undertone to it on the website, averting a girly bubblegum look. But that’s what I got. Pink, saccharine bubblegum. I know, you state clearly to buy a tester first and fair enough too. But I think I have an excellent eye for colour, sadly not for yours. I really didn’t expect 2 pots of expensive paint to be so different to what I expected. And I can’t return them. Never again. Definitely buy testers first!

Patchy finish
Purchased 3 months ago. It’s really hard to get a flawless finish, paint shows roller marks, tried a quality nylon wide brush, still not any better really. Paint really thick and dry, hard to spread. After two coats, it looked awful from the side, but OK front-on. When I gave it 3rd coat, I added a very small amount of water to help it spread. 4 coats later it’s better, but you can still see the end of brush and/or roller marks. Also states takes 28 days to cure before you can wipe it, but the paint does come off if you do this. The colour is lovely and looks fine head on, but not from the side as you enter the room. I’ve never had an issue like this with other paint brands, and I’ve done a lot of painting this year!
