A spectrum of subtle tones is the perfect partner for our animal curtains, whether you're firing the children's imagination with a carnival of critters or adding some jungle juice to your living room. Partner animal curtains with green paint, and you can create a habitat filled with natural wonder and soft, refined colours. Grey paint adds a smart, modern feel to a living room where flocks of brightly coloured birds flutter between twisting jungle vines. Blue paint is the ideal accompaniment to animal curtains featuring aquatic creatures - an excellent choice for a quirky bathroom. Or team up white paint with stylish Clavering Birds motifs, filled with colourful birds of Paradise for a bright and airy conservatory.
Your animal curtains are so easy to hang, too, with eyelet designs and custom fitting to your exact requirements. Pleats provide that perfect draped look, creating a colourful and refined frame for any window, big or small.
Frequently Asked Questions
What lining do I need for my curtains?
We offer various lining options for our made to measure curtains. Each has its own practical properties while also enhancing the overall look and feel.
Our standard lining is the most affordable option and is used solely to enhance and give your main fabric a backing, helping to protect the fabric from direct sunlight by filtering out the light in the room whilst also creating a nice drape. This light filtering option is lightweight and produces a soft natural glow in daylight hours. Available in ivory.
Our satin finish lining is medium weight that gently filters out light whilst creating an improved drape and finish. Satin lining is available in ivory and white.
Our blackout/thermal lining is a specialised heavyweight lining option and our top pick to eliminate light from the room when drawn. It also helps protect the main fabric from direct sunlight to avoid fading. Our blackout/thermal lining helps keep the room cool in summer by reducing the amount of light dispersing into the room, and during those colder months, it helps retain heat, making this a fantastic choice for bedrooms. Other benefits include reducing energy consumption and noise pollution. This option is ideal for windows and doors with a draft and gives a beautiful drape and finish. Our blackout/thermal lining is available in two colours, ivory and white.
Interlined curtains contain an extra layer of lining that is placed between your main curtain fabric and the backing/lining. The interlining provides greater thermal efficiency and gives your curtains more body. This is a great option if you want your curtains to have a fuller look, creating a more opulent and luxurious feel.
What kind of fabric is used to make your curtains?
Our curtains are made using different fabric types, this includes cotton, linen, chenille, velvet and satin. For more information on the specific fabric and composition used, you can refer to the product details page.
Will there be joins in my Curtains?
Larger curtains will require a join in the fabric. Curtains over 1260mm wide will have a single seam in the fabric. If your fabric contains a pattern, the panels will be pattern matched across the seams.
Are blackout and thermal curtains the same product?
Yes, they are the same product. As well as filtering out sunlight, in the summer months, they can add privacy and warmth to any room with there thermal qualities in the winter. Take a look at our blog exploring both blackout and thermal qualities of these curtains.
