So it’s that time again! It’s mid-month and the perfect opportunity to sit back and see how our trends are doing.
This month we take a look at the beautifully bohemian, ever so folkily-fun trend that is … Traveller. It’s the free soul of our trends here at Graham & Brown, the one that has seen the world! So let’s have a look at who and where is celebrating traveller and how far in the world it has actually travelled.
First, to the catwalk. It is very clear that designers have followed their bohemian hearts this season, bringing us amazing hand-made garments lavished with beautiful folk prints and embellishments. Temperley showcased a stunning collection of blue geometric bohemian outfits that bare a terrific resemblance to our own Kelly Hoppen Ikat wallpaper. Valentino and Etro have taken a more embellished approach to traveller, one look and you are taken away on adventures to faraway lands!
Of course, traveller has spread from the catwalk and on to the high street. All of our usual go-to high street stores have endless supplies of clothes to inspire our inside interior. From ASOS’s beautiful and delicate crochet dresses, to Topshop’s Navaho bold printed shirts, a fantastic story of exotic market and the treasure they hold.
And now for the important part… How can we take traveler from the high street and put it into our homes?
The key to traveller is the accessories (obviously after you have the right wallpaper!).
Zara Home have really gone full throttle with this trend, offering everything from bed linen and cushions, to tables and wicker baskets. They offer the widest range of accessories to embellish your room and create your very own cosy tee-pee!
Alongside their clothing collection “Native Rose,” Urban Outfitters also offer loads of accessories for your home, as quirky as ever. The best of the bunch has to be the amazing set of throws that you can use to adorn any part of your home.
As ever you can shop the very best of traveler trend right here at Graham & Brown.
Till the next mid – month trend followers!
